Drew Drama????

Well it looks like Scott Boras and Theo will resume talks next week, concerning outfielder J.D. Drew.  Boras, who has been very busy of late getting a 126 million for Barry Zito, will most likely redirect his energies back to Drew and his contract woes.

  The two sides agreed to a deal in principle over a month ago.  Both the Red Sox and Scott Boras insist that this medical snag is not a deal breaker in any way.  The Sox are looking to change the langugue in the contract that is specific to injury and time played, etc.  Of course Boras is trying to do what he does best, get 50% more for a player than he is worth.  It will be intersting on how this plays out, especially since the perception is the Red Sox have already taken Boras to the wood shed in the Dice-K contract.  Stay tuned, my guess is next Wednsday or Thursday, we will have a J.D. Drew press conference.
