Will All Be Well?

4057_4 It is tough to call this a must win tonight, but it's close.  The Sox will again turn to David Wells to end a losing skid.  After sweeping the Orioles this weekend, the Sox will need to come up big or they will be swept by the visiting Tigers. The task will daunting, consider they will have to do it against the ace of the staff Justin Verlander, whom I might mention was the ace of the Old Dominion University staff recently.  The Yankees are coming to town this weekend for a five game set, and if the Sox do not come to life this week, it could be a gloomy September.  The Sox got lucky with the White Sox losing to Kansas City, and they were able to stay three games back in the wild-card.  The Red Sox have not lost three in a row in Fenway Park since 1983. Meanwhile in Gotham City will the Yankees will face off against Adam Loewen, last time out Loewen was able to one hit the Bombers, if I were a betting man I would say do not count on the same results from Loewen and the O's.  It has been a rough few weeks to say the least, the Sox have won 3 games out of thier last twelve contest, and the schedule doe not get any kinder after this weekend.  It's not over till it's over, but it soon may be over if the Sox don't learn how to a .630 team again.
