Sunday Sports Spectacular!!!

If you are sports fan and a Father, then today is your day.  How many days a year has there been this much going on in the world of sports.  First you have World Cup Soccer with France going against Korea, then the start of the final round of the U.S. Open, with several in contention for the Major title.  If you saw the event, you were probably sickened by watching Phil Mickelson totally collaspe with 3 holes left.  Being a Red Sox fan I have always had a soft spot for Phil, today he was in vintage meltdown form, I guess later on he and Grady will get together for thier meltdown cocktail. Interleague play was also in full swing again today.  The Yankee's for the second day in a row watched a game they had in the bag slip away to the loss column.  It was nice seeing someone's else's manager make the wrong decision to stick with his starter to long.  Have no worries though Torre, you are not alone with bad pitching decisons this week, Tito still wins the prize.  Speaking of Tito and the Sox, we are again featured on Sunday night baseball, and will again will be in primetime.  Curt Schilling will face Atlanta's John Smoltz, the second Cy Young winner Schilling has had to face in 5 days.  Of course the NBA championship as resumes tonight in Miami with game five.  My bold prediction is, whoever wins tonight, will go on to win the championship, I know a bold prediction.
