Food for Thought
If the wild card comes out of the AL Central this year, I wonder if it will have anything to do with the fact that Detroit and Chicago will play Kansas City 18 times each. Nothing bolsters a playoff run quite like playing the worst team that baseball has seen since, well the Detroit Tigers of a few years ago. Baseball is baseball, but before we continue to hype the White Sox and Tigers lets remember what division they play in, and how many free wins they will get this year beacuse of it. Chicago plays K.C. 7 times the last six weeks of the season, while Detroit plays them eight times the last month of the season. So listen up and take notice if your team happens to be the Red Sox, Yankee's or Blue Jays, we will not have the luxury of an AL Central team being picked off by one of thier own this year on the last weekend of the season.
