MR. 200!!!!
Congrats to the newest member of the 200 wins club. Curt Schilling now joins just a list of 8 active pitchers with that many wins. Schilling went 7 innings tonight versus the Devil Rays, throwing 111 pitches and giving up 4 runs on eight hits with seven strikeouts. Schilling also only becomes the third active Red Sox pitcher to get #200 in a Red Sox uniform. It is something to watch Schilling pitch, he is such a battler in every pitch and every at bat. Red Sox's fans will never forget his Wyatt Earp-esque performance against the Yankees in game six of the 2004 ALCS in Yankees Stadium. Schilling also pitched a gem in game #162 last season also against the Yankees to nail down the wild card spot. For my money there is no one in the game I would want to pitch in big time winner take all game!!
